For the best results in running this program, the following suggestions are highly recommended.
Run on a PowerPC computer or better.
Run on MacOS 8 or higher.
Set the color depth of your monitor to 32 bit (millions) or 16 bit (thousands) color.
Set the resolution (size) of your monitor to 800x600 (preferred), 832x624, or higher.
** You can make the previous two changes by clicking on the Apple icon in top left of the menu bar. Select CONTROL PANELS and choose the MONITORS option. Use this control panel window to change the color depth to the highest possible and the resolution to 800x600 or 832x624 if available.
If you wish to install this program onto your hard drive so that you will not have to insert the CD every time you run the Discover program, do the following:
Double click on the icon for your hard drive.
Under the FILE menu, choose "New Folder" - this folder will appear in the hard drive window with the name UNTITLED FOLDER.
Rename this folder to DISCOVER FOLDER.
Double click on the Discover CD icon.
Under the VIEW menu, choose "as List"
Select all the items in the Discover CD window (these are: Discover icon, folder called FILES, folder called XTRAS, Read Me File)
Drag and copy all of these items to the DISCOVER FOLDER you created on your hard drive.
You can now remove the CD from the CD drive and run the DISCOVER program from the DISCOVER FOLDER on your hard drive.
